Francis Atwoli's Wife Mary Kilobi Emotionally Remembers Brother Shot Dead

 

How did Mary Kilobi's brother die? Emanuel Weyusia, an actor, director and playwright, died four years ago after being shot at his home in Thika. The assailants stormed Weyusia’s home in the middle of the night shortly after he arrived.  The attackers roughed up the security guard while demanding to be shown his house. Weyusia went outside to see what the commotion was about, and they sprayed him with bullets before fleeing. He was rushed to the Thika Level Four Hospital but was pronounced dead on arrival. On Thursday, October 19, Kilobi shared images from her brother's emotional burial. The family members, dressed in pink, were overwhelmed with emotions. Kilobi noted that her family has never forgotten Weyusia, and they miss him. “The pain of loss. 19th October 2019. We think about you every day, Marsh.
