CS Kuria's eye-raising post about Gachagua leaves Kenyans confused

 

Outgoing Trade and Industry Government Secretary Moses Kuria uploaded three sentimental songs hours after President William Ruto reorganized his government.

In addition to posting a picture of Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua, Kuria, who was transferred to the Ministry of Public Service and Performance Management, did the same on Facebook.

There were questions about his motives because the photo on his X platform, which was originally Twitter, had no caption.

One of the songs is titled Mwathani wakwa njakaniria tawa, a loose translation of which is, "Turn on the lights for me my Lord," and was written by John Murage and Gicheha wa Ngugi.

The song goes: 

1. My God, turn on the lights for me, I have been followed behind by great darkness. Before me, the shadows seem like stones, where my enemies wait for me.

I ask you to send angels, when I get there I find them sleeping, so I don’t have sorrow in my heart.

2. This house of yours that you built with problems, it is surrounded by killers
