Amber Ray has for the first time revealed why she chose to have normal births for both her kids.
The mother of two also shared her desire to be a mother of five, speaking in an interview with Eric Omondi’s bae Lynne
“I chose natural birth for both my pregnancies.
During my first pregnancy, I could not afford a CS, I also did not labour for long.
I want to have 2 more kids.”
Why a normal birth?
“You go back to normal life, for a normal birth once the baby is out you forget about the pain.
It was also easy for me to tie my tummy. I had options but I chose not to have a CS. I was told I had to stay home and there were things I could not do for myself and I did not like it.”
Amber Ray says at some point she had to be induced
“I did not labor for two hours. I started having labor pains around 5:00 pm and at 9:00 I was admitted.
Once I was admitted the labour pains disappeared.
When the doctor came I was induced and barely two hours later I had my baby. It’s tough and painful, I even had a tear. I had to be stitched.”
The Kamba bae shared how traumatizing her first childbirth experience was especially because she had tears.
“During my first pregnancy, I badly tore and the injections to numb me were not working.
They told me they could not inject me anymore as it would exceed the dosage. at some point I had to be sewn as I felt, It was very painful.
Within two weeks I was OK.
Amber Ray says she would want two more kids
“I would want to be a mother of five, but age is catching up with me.
I do not want to give birth at old age, I want to have fun with my kids.”
