Source: Original Omosh’s frustration stems from their exclusion from significant Azimio events, notably the recent 80th birthday celebration of Oburu Oginga. Did Azimio neglect Omosh and Bunge la Wananchi? In a gathering at Jacaranda grounds, Omosh accused Azimio of neglecting him and other vocal members of Bunge la Wananchi despite their unwavering support. “What happened at Jaramogi Oginga Odinga was very bad. As Jacaranda youths, we condemn it. Every day, we speak here, but whenever we speak, we are being silenced,” Omosh lamented. Omosh’s grievance about forum prioritisation He pointed out that they have been devoted to supporting Azimio and have faced personal challenges. Yet, when it comes to forums for youths, they are left out, and opportunities to address the people are given to those who have not been staunch supporters of Raila Odinga. “We fight more than even ODM and Jubilee elected leaders. When Raila was stoned in Turkana, we were the only people who condemned the act. Some of us are not sleeping in their houses because of our support to Azimio, but when it comes to forums for youths, we are left out. As Omosh, I am very upset because we don’t have jobs. When it comes to beneficial forums, those people who have never stood with Raila Odinga are the ones given priority. Somebody like Omosh wouldn’t be given a chance to address the people in those forums. Azimio people, stop joking with us,” he said. Newsonekenya shared the clip: Why was Omosh One Hour arrested? As we previously told you, Omosh was arrested on Monday, July 10, at 11:30 am at Kisumu Social Hall. When he was presented in court on Tuesday, the police requested an extended detention of the suspect they accused of incitement to terrorism via TikTok. Omosh was later released after spending at least nine nights behind bars. He thanked Raila and his lawyer, Danstun Omari, for standing with him throughout the ordeal. “I don’t have much to say. I have missed two protests. While in the cell, I pleaded with police officers to lob tear gas in my cell to make me feel nice, but they refused,” Omosh humorously remarked after being released on a KSh.50,000 cash bail on Wednesday, July 13.
