Netizens react to Moses Kuria’s post claiming cost of food has dropped
Kenyans on X social media platform(formerly Twitter) were infuriated by Investments, Trade & Industry Cabinet Secretary(CS) Moses Kuria's claim of food prices finally coming down.
The CS came under fire on Thursday, September 7, 2023, after he attached images that clearly showed ongoing offers at a local supermarket with a caption; "🎶It's coming Dooooown, Down Down Down🎶."
The food prices on the images had been slightly discounted.
Netizens quickly shut down Kuria with some calling for action from the government to fulfil the pledge of lowering the cost of living.
