Nelly Confirms He's Back Together with Ashanti 10 Years after Breakup: "It Wasn't Planned"

 

According to Daily Mail, reports emerged earlier this year that the two celebrities had reconciled, marking a reunion a decade after their initial breakup. Nelly confirms relationship with Ashanti However, Nelly emphasized that either party didn't premeditate their decision to rekindle their romance.  In an interview with Love and Hip Hop stars Rasheeda and Kirk Frost, Nelly affirmed their revived relationship, stating: "'Yeah, we cool again. 'I think it surprised both of us though. It wasn't anything that I don't think was planned.'" The 48-year-old celebrity feels that the extended period of separation has been beneficial for their reunion. According to him, the time apart has enabled them to understand each other and their relationship better. "I think we both were pretty much doing what we do, but sometimes being separate you understand one another more. You be like, 'Yo, let me see exactly what they see.' You know, because we all can be defensive sometimes in our own relationships. We know we wrong but we going to stand on it. But we all a victim to that." A source told the online publication: “They were smiling at each other nonstop, they were super cute." Notable artistes such as Justin Beiber, Neil Young, David Bowie and Bob Dylan are among those who have also sold the rights to their music.
