Kenyans Stunned as Gachagua Invites Colombians to Visit the Country to See Tigers: "Where Are They?"

In his address to Colombian business leaders on Wednesday, September 13, Gachagua invited them to visit and invest in Kenya, where he said they will enjoy the best hospitality. He went ahead to mention some of the rare experiences the Colombian people will get if they visit Kenya. Gachagua confidently said the visitors will have the rare experience of encountering wild animals such as tigers. "Kenya is a very warm country. We are very welcoming people we are very hospitable and we invite Colombian business people to come and invest in Kenya. Again, as you come to invest in Kenya, we have many facilities for tourism. We have rare species of wildlife; the elephant, rhino, buffalo and the tiger." However, the fact is that there is no Tiger in Kenya. Tigers have never historically lived on the African continent, which is a highly intriguing aspect of the tiger's absence. Gachagua's remarkers triggered social media reaction, with many wondering why the second in command was lying to the world. Others wondered whether it was joking or, indeed, Gachagua was not aware that there are no tigers in the country, is anyone's guess. Other Kenyans claimed it had become normal for Kenya Kwanza Alliance leaders to lie about most issues. Caxstone Kigata: "While delivering a speech in Columbia, Gachagua lied to the audience that we have tigers in Kenya. Fact is that tigers have never historically lived on the African continent. We have indeed exported lies to the international community." Purple Rain: ''Gachagua has a kienyeji dog called Taiga. Be properly guided." Ughel: "Personally I don't mind them lying to foreigners like they do us." Odhiambo Opiyo: "Even before our visitors can see the swimming lions of Lamu, Mr. Pepo Punda is inviting them to see tigers." edmond: "He just fell short of mentioning mzee wa vitendawili." koome: "Our truthful man meant twiga." BY TUKO NEWS
