Judiciary Announces Vacancies for Kenyans with Minimum Qualification of C- in KCSE

 

Why Judiciary is employing 961 people In an advert on Monday, September 11, the JSC sought to recruit experienced agents in 79 court stations for a specific period. "The Judiciary is seeking to hire experienced agents in 79 court stations in 30 counties for a range period of between 5 days to 54 days based on the caseload station," the advert read in part. According to JSC, the recruitment exercise aligns with its ambitious digitisation programme to see all manual files converted into digital format. "Digitisation of court records involves the conversation of court filed from Manual to Digital Format. The project scope encompasses scanning all active case files, capturing case particulars and uploading the scanned digital files onto the Case Tracking System (CTS)," said JSC. JSC stated the young people who will be recruited will be introduced to a digitally-enabled work environment that will see them earn a living. "The projects aim at bridging the gap between skills demand and jobs. The program aims to introduce young people to digital and digitally-enabled work and provides the tools, training and mentorship needed for young people to work and earn an income with dignity," they added. JSC: What are the roles and duties of the new recruits The JSC seeks to recruit 79 Team Leaders whose primary responsibility will be receiving files from the registry and assigning them to their team members. They will also undertake quality checks for scanned documents and approve them for uploading to CTS. According to the advert, team leaders must possess a minimum KCSE grade of C- and would be paid KSh 2,000 daily. JSC is also seeking to recruit 79 Digitisation Agents (Scanning Operators), who will be paid KSh 1,500 per day. Their primary duties will involve scanning all prepared documents, renaming the scanned images appropriately, undertaking quality checks for the completed, scanned files, saving them onto a Network Storage System and uploading them to CTS. Lastly, JSC is looking for 803 Digitisation Agents (Data Entry), who will also be paid KSh 1500 per day for their work period. Data Entry agents' primary role will entail receiving files from the in-charge of registries and preparing physical files, including unbinding, document sorting, page separation, listing, pagination, and indexing.   BY TUKO NEWS
