Eldoret: 4th-Year Female Student Found Dead in Her Room under Unclear Circumstances

 

The parents and friends of Cynthia Mutinda were concerned about her when she became unreachable on Saturday, September 23. A report by Citizen TV indicated that the frightened friends and family of the lady went to her house on Sunday, September 25, and her door was closed from the inside. Peeking through the window, they saw her motionless body lying on the bed.  "After they managed to gain access to the house, they found her body with no injuries or anything suggesting foul play. We are investigating the matter to know how she died," Kesses OCPD Wilfred Mogere said. A post-mortem will also be conducted to determine the exact cause of the death. Death of Daystar University student This came just a fortnight after the death of a first-year student from Daystar University, who died just days after joining the institution. Mercy Cherono is said to have met her end four days after her admission into the institution in Athi River. She had conversed with her parents on the night she died. Cherono, in her conversation with her mother, expressed her excitement as she attended the fresher's party at the university. The mother would then receive a call at dawn asking her to go to the campus without any explanation given after her daughter suffered knife wounds under mysterious circumstances. Baraton University student dies Elsewhere, a family in Kakamega was thrown into mourning following the sudden death of their kin. Agesa Grace Michelle died on Thursday, June 22, in a grisly road accident involving a boda boda she was riding on. Until her death, the young lady was a Third Year student at the Eldoret-based University of Eastern Africa Baraton.   BY TUKO NEWS
