Babushka: Dancer with Disability Star Shines as He Features in First Music Video Alongside Madini Classic

 

How did Babushka become famous? The entertainer garnered attention for rising above his disability to learn different dance routines. His determination and talent were featured in an interview on Citizen TV with Lulu Hassan.  Babushka posted a video showcasing numerous dance moves as a delighted Lulu looked on. At the end of the routine, Lulu joined in dancing, and the duo seemed to have a good time. They finished the video with a warm embrace. “It was a privilege dancing with Lulu Hassan after an amazing interview. We spread love,” he wrote. With his newfound fame, Babushka started spreading joy by dancing for other people with disability. He caught the attention of a philanthropic Kenyan who decided to change his life. The man gifted Babushka a new vehicle to ease his transport, and the dancer wished blessings upon his life. Why did Madini choose Babushka? Babushka’s efforts paid off as he has featured in Madini Classic’s new hit song dubbed Medicine alongside Mercy Walker. In the video, Madini takes his lover for a surprise before unveiling Babushka, who dances for her. Don Vekta, the artiste’s communications manager, told TUKO.co.ke that he brought Babushka on board because of his talent. “I wanted him to showcase his potential and sell what he does...he is arguably among the most charitable Kenyan celebrities.” Vekta, also an artiste, paid glowing tribute to the dancer. “He is unique and a brand to watch out for. It is only a matter of time. I love how he is hardworking and loves what he does.” The manager further disclosed that it's a collaborative project with Mara Moja Transport. Madini will, on Sunday, September 17, have his first show after the video release alongside Babushka.
