African world record holder, Ferdinand Omanyala has recently been in the studio to record a song to express his gratitude to God.
Omanyala, who has not been doing well in recent days in the world athletics season that ended yesterday, was seen in the studio wearing headphones and a tape recorder in front of him.
With a slow rhythm, Omanyala poured out her heart in a beautiful voice of a worship song while singing a spiritual hymn, “You are worthy of worship, you are worthy O Jesus, You are worthy of worship…”
In the caption of the encouraging clip, Omanyala who is a police officer said that what prompted him to enter the studio to sing was to reflect on the distance he has been held by God since he started running professionally and made a name for himself.
“Contemplating how great God has become. Have time with God through worship,” he wrote in the video.
His fans made fun of him, some asking for a collabo and others congratulating him by remembering that everything he has been doing on the field is not due to his ability or strength, but to his Creator.
“I’m asking for Collabo,” presenter of the gospel program on Citizen, Timeless Noel joked.
“And God is happy!!! Not many give success to God in the athletics world..but you are rare….Now wait and see what God will do through… imagine even Badoo hasn’t started blessing you 😂😂..that’s the beginning,”
Wabwire is Innocent told him. “Not only a champion but also God-fearing and worshiping Him … Wow 💥💥” Huruma Town80.
