Christabel Lumbasi repaired ruined classrooms to give the pupils a conducive and safe environment to pursue their education. The doting mum disclosed she pursued the project in honour of her loving husband, Joseph Lumbasi, who was involved in a tragic accident in 2019. Speaking to TUKO.co.ke, Christabel fondly spoke of her hubby, who is passionate about education and community work. Staying in ICU in California for three weeks “Joseph loved education. Back in the United Kingdom, he had an organisation that helped the black people to come together and organise events such as trips to create unity and strength in the community,” she said. Tracking back, Christabel shared a car hit her hubby in California while attending a conference there. He was severely hurt and was taken to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) for three weeks before being airlifted to Scotland. BY TUKO NEWS
