Ruto heads to Mozambique for a two-day State visit

 

Following his conclusion of a five-day visit in Mt Kenya region, President William Ruto on Thursday left for Mozambique.

State House Press Secretary Emmanuel Talam said Ruto left the country early in the morning for a two-day state visit.

Foreign CS Alfred Mutua arrived in Mozambique on Wednesday evening ahead of the President.

"I have today ( Wednesday) arrived in Maputo, Mozambique for the Joint Permanent Commission for Cooperation meet and to prepare for H.E. President William Ruto's State visit to the country," he said.

Mutua was received by his counterpart Verónica Macamo.

President Ruto's last international trip was last month when he traveled to Tanzania for the Africa Heads of State summit on human capital.

The two-day meeting was organised by the World Bank and the Tanzanian government    BY THE STAR
