What to do with old currency notes in Kenya? Speaking to TUKO.co.ke, Kipng'etich, who is currently on attachment in a Nairobi company, said his boss found the wads of KSh 40,000 old banknotes after he forgot about them.  "My boss found the notes and gave them to me. He forgot to change them in 2019 when the new currency notes were introduced. He told me if I find a way to change them, and if I do, then I can use the cash to better myself," he said. He was, however, disappointed to learn that the Central Bank of Kenya no longer takes old currency notes. "Please inquire from your readers if there is any way I can get the notes changed because the money would really be of help to me," he stated. The young man said he had been studying at a Nairobi college before proceeding for attachment at the Nairobi company.
