In the latest development, the talented sportsman has been given a pair of signed boots by former Valencia, Real Madrid, Villareal, Leeds United and Spain national team player Rodrigo Moreno.  Rodrigo, who has represented his home country Spain in the World Cup and won the Euro Cup, currently plies his trade at Al-Rayyan in Qatar. After getting to learn about the lad's touching story and also perceiving that he has a bright future in the world of soccer, the midfielder decided to send him shoes. "Congratulations on your performance. I am sending you the boots from here in Qatar and hope you enjoy them," the star footballer said in a video. The boots valued at KSh 100,000 will definitely be an inspiration to the St Antony Boys' High School skipper nicknamed "County Commissioner." Omuse is an orphan Omuse's inspiring story dates back 12 years ago when Bungoma pastor Joseph Mukolwe rescued him from the streets where he had been living after his parents died. Thanks to Mukolwe's intervention which saw him enrolled into a children's home, the youngster was able to hone his footballing skills. In a remarkable turn of events, the once-disadvantaged boy ended up captaining his team, St Anthony Boys' High School, to victory at the national high school games. It was a development that not only saw his star as a promising footballer begin to shine, but he also became an international phenomenon. "I'm grateful to God because it is by His grace that Omuse does what he's involved in, and I pray that the boy's dreams of playing for Manchester City come to pass," Mukolwe told TUKO.co.ke
