Fred Gitau from Kiambu was set to wed his lovely lover on Saturday, August 26, but to the shock of his family and friends, he died one day before his wedding under mysterious circumstances. Fred Gitau's heartwarming video  A few days before the wedding, Gitau took to his Facebook to post a pre-wedding video featuring his lover Joyce, and it showed how he proposed to her and the lovely moments they shared. According to the lovely clip, Gitau was all smiles as he went down on one knee as his lover looked in the opposite direction. The lovely lady then looked at him and said yes to his marriage proposal. The video also captured the couple's playful moments and the announcement of their wedding date. They even took their Facebook followers through the countdown to their big day. "With the blessing of God and our parents, we joyously invite you to witness and celebrate the blessings of our marriage," read their digital card. Many trooped to the comment section to congratulate the couple ahead of their wedding day.  Gitau's friends and family in shock after his death Sadly, the congratulatory mood in the comment section turned sombre as rest-in-peace messages started dominating the section. Many could not wrap their heads around the news of Gitau's death, with his Facebook friends saying they were in disbelief.
