Angry Susan Kihika Rebukes Raila after His Remarks on US Ambassador Meg: "Shut Up and Retire"

The Nakuru governor angrily termed remarks of the former prime minister as very unfortunate, particularly his choice of words. Kihika said it was perhaps the right time to tell the Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Coalition Party leader to equally shut up and retire from active politics. William Ruto ally defends US envoy remarks According to the outspoken governor, the ODM leader should have praised Ambassador Meg for marketing Kenya instead of rebuking her over her remarks regarding the 2022 presidential elections."He should not have used the words he used this afternoon. It's actually quite unfortunate for a person at his level to talk about an ambassador and tell an ambassador to shut up. Perhaps it is also time to tell him to shut up and retire. If he really heard what Whitman presented, he would have seen that she is not only the best ambassador to Kenya but a good ambassador of Kenya," Kihika said. At the same time, the Nakuru governor accused Raila of allegedly inciting county governments against President William Ruto's administration in the ongoing distribution of subsidised fertiliser to farmers. The county bosses argued that the opposition leader used the devolution conference to undermine some of the partnership programmes between the two levels of government. "For 10 years, we have been working well with the national government. He is trying to incite against the national government in the distribution of cheap fertiliser, which is now KSh 2,500. Does he mean well to Kenya?" she posed. What Raila said about Ambassador Meg Whitman Her harsh sentiments come after the former prime minister termed Meg as rogue after she insisted that Ruto won the 2022 state house race fairly. During his speech at the 2023 Devolution Conference, the opposition leader hit out at the United States ambassador and reminded her that Kenya is not a colony of her nation. The Opposition chief told the US envoy to "keep your mouth shut" and even threatened, "We will call for your recall back to your country".The political mogul defended the anti-regime protests he sanctioned, saying they have united teams from the government and the opposition. "Finally, I want to tell the rogue ambassador. Leave Kenyans alone. If Maandamano can lead to dialogue between Kalonzo and Ichung'wah, then everything is good with Maandamano. Tell the rogue ambassador Kenya is not the US, Kenya is not a colony of the US, keep your mouth shut or we will call for your recall back to your country," Raila said as his supporters in the conference ululated.   BY TUKO NEWS
