All Set Ahead Of President Ruto’s Visit To Busia

 

President Dr. William Ruto is expected to commission the Kenya Medical Training Centre (KMTC) Teso Campus tomorrow is what is seen as economic empowerment of the region by residents.

After which, the President Ruto will also commission 1.8M Malaba Inland Dry Port, 120M Surgical Ward at Busia County Referral Hospital and Mulukoba Fish landing site.

Addressing the press at KMTC Teso campus on the eve of the President’s tour, Teso North Member of Parliament Oku Kaunya urged all politicians irrespective of their political affiliations to come and receive the President.

Kaunya added that creation of Malaba Dry Port will help easy traffic snarl-up witnessed at Malaba occasionally besides boosting the economy of the municipality.

The legislature however noted that the community will use the forum to champion for creation of Teso County for resource mobilization    BY CAPITAL NEWS
