AFC Leopards announce Kimani’s acquisition

 

AFC Leopards have welcomed the return of midfielder Kevin Kimani as they gear up for the upcoming season.

Kimani, who has previously played for several FKF Premier League clubs including KCB, Mathare United, Tusker, Bandari, and Wazito FC, has signed a two-year deal with Leopards.

"We are delighted to announce the return of Kevin Kimani at AFC Leopards," the club announced.

Kimani expressed his excitement about joining one of the region's biggest clubs with a rich history. He is determined to contribute by scoring goals and helping the team achieve success.

"It's a privilege joining one of the biggest clubs in East and Central Africa, with a rich history of success. My vision has never changed. I am here to assist and score goals (many goals). One game at a time and we will reach our goals," Kimani told the club's media.

Meanwhile, Hassan Beja became the club's 15th signing, fulfilling his dream of playing for AFC Leopards. He signed a three-year contract and is looking forward to winning matches and trophies with the club.

In Friday's confirmations, Aziz Okaka has returned to the den from Wazito FC, signing a two-year contract and taking on jersey number 30.

Striker Brian Yakhama, who scored 8 goals last season for FC Talanta, joined on a two-year contract and will wear jersey number 9.

Luke Wafula Namanda, a winger with experience at Tusker FC and Nzoia Sugar FC, arrived from Musanze FC in Rwanda, signing a two-year deal. He aims to use this opportunity to make it back to the national team.

AFC Leopards DM

Defensive midfielder Boniface Munyendo signed a two-year contract after transferring from Nzoia Sugar FC.

Striker Yasin Sije also joined from Nzoia Sugar, signing a two-year contract and donning iconic jersey number 14.

Vincent Mahiga, a Left Wingback with experience at Chemelil Sugar, fulfilled his childhood dream of playing for AFC Leopards.

Loren James Sati, a right-back who previously played for Soy United and comes from Division 1, is determined to win titles with Leopards.

Midfielder Shawn Daniel Oloo, with past stints at Sofapaka FC and Wazito FC, signed a two-year deal with Leopards.

Brian Mandela Solomon joined AFC Leopards as a right-back/centre back from Mwatate United on a three-year deal.

In addition to these outfield players, AFC Leopards acquired young goalkeeper Abubakar Musha on a three-year contract.

Musha is eager to compete for the club's first-choice goalkeeper position and aims to become a champion with AFC Leopards.   BY K24 NEWS  

These signings bring the total number of confirmed players at AFC Leopards to 16 as they prepare for the upcoming season.
