A bus ferrying passengers to Migori county has been burned to ashes after catching fire. The ENA Coach bus burst into flames at Nairegie Enkare area along the Narok-Mai Mahiu highway in Narok county. Nation reports that 49 passengers were aboard the bus at the time of the Wednesday, August 30 incident. Luckily, all passengers were safely evacuated from the bus before it was reduced to ashes. According to the police, one of the bus’s front wheels reportedly got a puncture while ascending a hill, after which the driver tried to pull it over along the highway to change the tyre. While in the process of changing the tyre, the bus caught fire and efforts to reach the Narok County firefighting department bore no fruit. BY TUKO NEWS
