A Dubai- based Kenyan fitness coach has called out celebs for not showing up in masses for the burial of DJ Babu.
Babu who was based in Dubai was on Friday laid to rest at his parent’s home in Murang’a County.
He died after being involved in a grisly road accident in Dubai.
Patrick Owino questioned if they (Dubians) should be worried about how their fellow Kenyans would treat them if something happened to them.
“Out of wasanii wote walikuwa wameandikwa kwa euology, wawili tu ndio walikuwa kwa mazishi,”
Owino lamented after top musicians who worked with the late DJ Babu failed to attend his burial in Murang’a.
“You are trying to tell us nyinyi huwa hapo wakati unataka kubenefit from somebody. Mnatuambia sisi kama Team Dubs, tukipata msiba, tusiwaexpect kabisa?”
Coach Patricko stated that the last show that DJ Babu attended before the fatal accident was the one for Khaligraph.
He argued the OG ought to have come to say ‘pole’ to the DJ’s family.
“This shows us that next time, hawa majamaa wanaorganiziwa gigs uko Dubs ama anywhere in the Gulf, we should not pull up. Why should we pull up for them if they are not with us wakati tuko na msiba?
Kwa nini tujaze show zao eti walipwe vizuri? This should be a lesson to us that tukiwa uko nje, we are on our own. Shame on you all. Nyinyi ni wambwakni,” Owino emotionally said in a video.
The 31-year-old DJ was well-celebrated in the entertainment circle. BY MPASHO NEWS
