Kenyan disc jockey Joe Mfalme has announced that he has landed a new job at NRG Radio. Mfalme will be hosting the late-night show, NRG Aluta, which airs every Monday to Thursday from 10pm.
Mfalme began his professional career in 2008 after finishing first runner-up in a DJ competition. He then joined Capital FM, where he worked for 12 years. In 2021, he was fired from Homeboyz Radio after he and two of his colleagues were accused of victim-shaming a woman who was thrown off the 12th floor of Ambank House by a man she met on Facebook.
Despite the controversy, Mfalme has been able to find a new job at NRG Radio. He is grateful for the support he has received from his fans and is looking forward to his new role. BY GHAFLA NEWS
