Ex-Raila Aide Jakakimba Resigns From Homa Bay County Legal Advisor Role

ODM leader Raila Odinga’s former political aide Silas Jakakimba has resigned from his role as legal advisor for Homa Bay Governor Gladys Wanga.

In a tweet on Friday evening, Jakakimba cited “emerging and increasing commitments that had earlier been unforeseen.”

Jakakimba, who had been appointed to the role on October 11, 2022, said, “This appointment was premised on the mutual understanding that Homa Bay County deserved a different tangent of leadership and in Gov. Wanga, the hopes and aspirations of our people would be realized through devolution.”

He went on to say that while he still believes in the journey and will support Wanga, he had tendered his resignation with immediate effect.    BY CITIZEN DIGITAL
