Ruto heads to Murang’a as protests enter final day

President William Ruto on Friday will head to Mt Kenya as he continues with his weekly county tours.

This is as the Azimio la Umoja Coalition will hold its final protests this week.

The President will preside over the launch of the Konza Jitume Digital Skills Laboratories at Michuki Technical Training Institute and Mathioya Technical Training Institute.

According to his diary, Ruto will be at Mugoiri Girls High School at 10: 30 am, Murang’a High School at 12:30 pm and will head to Kangari Market at 2 pm.

On Thursday, the President was at Isiolo and Meru counties where he launched projects and issued out title deeds.

President William Ruto has continued talking tough over the ongoing anti-government protests led by the Azimio la Umoja Coalition. 

While addressing people in Isiolo, Ruto told Opposition chief Raila Odinga that holding demonstrations would not solve anything.

“Hata ukiweka sufuria miaka kumi kwa kichwa, bei ya unga itapungua? Hata ufanye maandamano mwaka moja, bei ya unga itapungua?” he posed.

Former Prime Minister Raila Odinga has vowed to continue with the anti-government protests until President Ruto addresses the issues affecting Kenyans.   BY THE STAR
