[PHOTOS] Protesters light bonfires outside Kamukunji grounds

Kenyans on Wednesday came out to demonstrate the high cost of living across the country.

In Nairobi, protesters engaged police in running battles after they were teargassed at Kamukunji grounds.

Earlier, people were seen preparing the ground by setting up the dais and seats.

Police dispersed them but the rowdy group fired back throwing stones at the police.

Azimio leader Raila Odinga call off the planned rally at the grounds citing planned bloodshed.
