Anjella, a former signee to Harmonize has shut down rumors that she was dating her ex-boss, the Konde Gang record label CEO.
Anjella denied ever being in a relationship with Harmonize and getting pregnant for him. While speaking to Millard Ayo, she said; “No, I have never been pregnant for him.”
She added, “No, we have never been in a relationship and he has never hit on me.”
The singer said she spoke to Harmonize’s manager about her health. “I was having health issues with my legs and I told the manager, so I don’t know what he went to tell Harmonize, the next thing I saw was them taking away my car and the contract being terminated.”
Just recently, another former Harmonize signee, Cheed narrated how he felt he had also been subjected to unfair treatment.
“After they terminated our contracts, we wanted to know why they did that and so, we went to seek help from Basata, National Arts Council.”
“The contract says if you terminate the contract as an artiste, you are supposed to pay the record label Tsh 1 billion (Ksh 58 million) but if the management terminates the contract, they will pay you Tsh 10 million (Ksh 581,000)
“They wanted their cars back. And we wanted to take the right channels so we asked for help from Basata, because the cars are owned by the company and were part of the contract. But there was a certain small clause that said if you sign a contract with Harmonize Entertainment, all rights will be the company’s”
So there are two things here, you get the 10 million and all your music becomes theirs. Or you get all your rights and not get a shilling from him.
We wanted to know why the contract was terminated carelessly.
