[PHOTOS] Ruto commissions upgraded maternity wing at Embu hospital

 

President William Ruto has commissioned the upgraded and renovated maternity, neonatal and pediatric Wing at Embu Level V Hospital.

The President said the government is making conscious investments to improve access to healthcare across the country.

It is also pursuing choices that improve the efficiency, quality, and resilience of our healthcare system.

He was accompanied by Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua, Embu Governor Cecily Mbarire and other leaders.

Ruto had visited the county to open a mega expo, which is set to end on May 30.

The county is set to host Kenya's 60th Madaraka Day celebrations.    BY THE STAR
