Maina Kageni's message to Sauti Sol as they take a break performing as a group

 

Radio King Maina Kageni has wished Kenya's most successful Boys Band Sauti Sol well as they pursue their personal careers.

The Quadruplet boys band says they are not sure how long the break will be.

Speaking during the Morning Show on Classic 105,Kageni shared

"Go well and enjoy your hiatus and may you do your personal projects successfully."

Maina says  he is already loving the artistes we have among them 

 Fathermoh & Ssaru known for the hit song " Kaskie Vibaya"

The group recently announced they will be taking an indefinite Hiatus as they pursue personal careers.

In a statement, Sauti Sol told fans that they will take an indefinite hiatus (according to the Urban Dictionary, it's a fancy term for 'break up'. Bands use it to think it will soften the blow on their fans, when they infact know the harsh truth) after this tour. 

"The upcoming tour across the US, Europe and Canada, is a chance for fans to immerse themselves in the magic of Sauti Sol one last time. before the band takes a break from group projects for a while." 

The group expressed deep love and gratitude for their fans over the years supporting them in all ways.

"With the indefinite hiatus marks the end of a specific chapter. As close friends and business partners the band members are eager to explore fresh, creative avenues and embark on personal endeavours," added the statement.

Sauti Sol's encore performance will take place at the third annual Sol Fest in Nairobi on December 16th.
