Adesanya's ex-gf allegedly demanding half his property in court

 

Unconfirmed reports claim that Charlotte Powdrell, the girlfriend who broke up with boxer Israel Adesanya, a New Zealand citizen of Nigerian background, has reportedly dragged him to court and demanded that half of his property be handed over to him despite not being married to him.

UFC fighter Sean O'Malley revealed this while speaking on a podcast streamed on Suga's YouTube channel.

He said the lady in question was never married to Israel nor did she have a child with him but she believes she is entitled to half of his wealth because "they dated for a very long time and she supported his career in the Ultimate Fighting Championship, UFC."

O'Malley said, "Izzy's ex-girlfriend [Israel Adesanya]... They are not married, well they were never married I don't believe it.

She wants half of his property. I don't know what their relationship was like because I didn't even know he had a girlfriend, but to want half of what he went out and did is completely ridiculous."

Adesanya's relationship with Charlotte Powdrell came to light in 2019 after they were seen together after his win over Robert Whittaker.

Powdrell is a New Zealand real estate agent based in Auckland. Israel Adesanya is the current UFC Middleweight champion and one of the highest-paid martial artists in the world.

The case of his ex-girlfriend demanding half of his property comes one month after the ex-wife of Moroccan footballer, Achraf Hakimi, Hiba Abouk went to court demanding half of his property after being married for 2 years only.

To her surprise, Hiba found Hakimi had put all his assets under his mother's name and he did not have any assets in his name.
