Kenyan actress Joy Boera Bisieri is officially off the market after walking down the aisle with her longtime lover and fellow actor Andrew.
The two love birds tied the knot in a wedding ceremony that was graced by their close friends, family, and celebrities at the St John’s Eudes Centre.
The marriage was officiated by the Citam church. Some of the notable figures at the ceremony were UDA Secretary General Cleophas Malala, KTN’s Brian Aseli, Dail Nation’s Daisy Okoti, and author Kithaka Wamberia.
Boera narrated that she first met her now husband back in 2012 but their relationship started 9 years later after they met again at an audition.
“I first saw my husband in 2012. I had just finished high school and was trying to join the acting industry.
“I had gone to watch a play at Alliance Francaise by ‘Next level Productions’ whose producer was Cleophas Malala,” Boera said in part.
Before adding; “I saw him and for the first time he made me think of a husband. I thought ‘ Mmmh that one looks like my idea of a husband’ but that’s all
“I left and guess what? I met him 9 years later when I went for auditions at Millaz Productions Kenya. From then, the rest is history,”.
Boera who is a PR guru and Marketer acts in Tahidi High and also featured in Njoro wa Uba. At Tahidi she acts as a parent to a student called ‘Maya’.
Boera is also a lead actor in a TV series called Chiriku that airs on Hope TV. She acts as ‘Christine’.
On the other hand, her hubby who is a lawyer by profession has also featured in Njoro wa UBA and Kina.
Together the two love birds also run an entertainment company called ‘Andymaxe Entertainment ‘ where they are both directors.
