Okari exposes Artcaffe for allegedly selling him rotten eggs, they respond

Media personality Dennis Okari is not a happy man.

This was after he was allegedly fed a rotten egg at one of the Artcaffe Kenya joints.

The seasoned journalist was disappointed by the services given saying he wish they had at least apologized.

With the high number of food poisoning cases going on in the country, I understand where he is coming from.

Through his Twitter Okari shared the meal sold to him and his bill alongside that.

“First time I didn’t really like service, I felt standards have dropped but this morning gave it another try. I can’t hide my disappointment @ArtcaffeKenya an oily rotten egg?

And your manager didn’t even bother to come & apologize. I just got a deducted bill.”

Artcaffe Management responded asking him to send them his contacts.

“Hello Dennis, Thank you for reaching out to us. We are disappointed to hear about your experience at our Artcaffe Hurlingham. We take customer satisfaction seriously and we appreciate the time you took to share your experience with us. Please Dm your contacts.”

TV Journalist Ali Manzu responded to Okari’s tweet asking him to ditch such joints and go to vibanda’s instead.

He even promised to take him to one.

“Kibandaski mpango mzima! Nikifungua tu, Eid nakupeleka industrial area kwa Mama nitilie! Pole sana. Hizi joints achana nazo. Hata Mzee wa machapati Wakili Ja Takaungu @abdulnassir21 anaelewa

Below are some more comments from Kenyans

@ItsCessMutungi: If you think the one in Hurlingham is bad, DO NOT go near the one at Total Kileleshwa. Things have changed, the food is not fresh and the chefs are a disaster. Guys are not trained. @ArtcaffeKenya is constantly apologizing with ZERO improvement.

@the_sambu: Artcaffe is just a low-key kibandaski masquerading in the Capital. Poor service, I was there 3weeks ago they served me a stale Burger. Left without any of their managers/Supervisor reaching out

@cathy_mutuku: We need to talk about the burgers they gave my son and cold chips as someone had ordered and refused it, I had to take it back to very poor service and girls just looking at you like I came here with my money why can’t I get good service surely.

@Ck_Nrb: I tried their English breakfast at the village Market… Let’s say ANNOYED was and is an understatement. Tried again at yaya and Town.. I gave up these hotels are crap.

@SlightlyMad10:I had the same experience last year at the branch in Westlands near quick mart. Rotten bacon and the manage did change the bacon but with more rotten bacon. Ended up getting a different complimentary food option. But their standards have significantly dropped.
