Singer Konshens cheerfully uses Kenyan nickname on ‘Angela’ remix

Dancehall star Garfield Delano Spence popularly known as Konshens has accepted the nickname given to him by Kenyans following his relationship and great love for this nation.

The singer’s great love for Kenya made creative social media users name him Konshens Otieno and one Kenyan even created a Kenyan ID for him.

Konshens on his remix with rapper Boutross Munene of the popular song ‘Angela’ seemed to accept the title with a cheerful heart.

“Brace pan di wall and fling it up gimmi nuh, Konshens AKA Otieno, Play with the two ni++le like Piano,” Konshens sang.

On the identification given to him by the Kenyan designer, the Jamaican-born artist was said to have been born in Kisumu, Kenya.

Early last year after his exciting concert here in Kenya, he also seemed to accept the title given to him while saying goodbye to Kenyans.

At that time, he promised to return in a few years. “Much love Kenya, it has been real, our union is stronger than before. We will see each other again after 3/4 years Konshens Otieno,” he wrote on Twitter and attached a Kenyan flag emoji.

The Dancehall and Reggae singer’s love for Kenya is evident and he has proved it with his several tours. Konshens is a frequent visitor to Kenya and his last visit was in December 2021.

Many Kenyans are also fans of the Jamaican and even follow him on his social media pages.
