Anerlisa treated to pleasant surprise by friends ahead of her birthday

 

Businesswoman Anerlisa Muigai is a happy woman after her friends treated her to a Pre-birthday party ahead of her big day on Monday.

She is the daughter of Nakuru Senator Tabitha Karanja and businessman Joseph Karanja.

Unlike most people, Anerlisa's friend's did not come to the party empty-handed as most of them brought gifts. 

Just the other day, Anerlisa went viral after she called out friends who go to birthday parties carrying no gifts.

The businesswoman further insisted that flowers are not gifts.

In the original post, she wrote

"I have never understood how you get invited for birthdays or weddings but don’t even bring a gift. Flowers are not a gift…I mean, somebody has spent so much putting their event together and then you come to the party empty-handed? Stop,” said Anerlisa 

The birthday party will come in as a good distraction for Anerlisa as she recently featured in a miniseries documenting her sister's last moments.

The local investigative series is premiering on DSTV this coming Sunday 8th January. The Last Door will premiere on Maisha Magic Plus on 8th January at 8:00 PM.

John Allan Namu, the investigative journalist, has been teasing the premier of the series in a trailer featuring Anerlisa and Keroche CEO Tabitha Karanja.

Reacting to how she shed tears in the interview recounting her sister's life, Anerlisa wrote a message on her Instagram stories on Wednesday, January 4 saying,

"This has to be the hardest story to tell. I wish nothing like this for anyone. Careful with the people you allow into your life."

Tecra died on May 2 at a Nairobi hospital while undergoing treatment following a fall in Lamu. During the inquest, we learned of the relationship between suspect Omar Laali and the heiress Tecra.   BY MPASHO NEWS
