Mr. Seed has dismissed claims that he has conned Kenyans in online trading scams.
The allegations surfaced after tea master Edgar Obare took to his social media to point fingers at Mr. Seed following complaints by an informant.
Mr. Seed said Edgar did not reach out to him before making the allegations, “At the end of the day, I’m a musician and a brand, biashara za online sifanyi, Edgar big up.”
Reacting to this on Tuesday, January 10, Seed told YouTuber Nicholas Kioko, “You know first I’m a businessman, second you can do any online business but let me come clean about the allegations. I have never scammed anyone I do trading online and on that app, there is a lot that goes on kwa hio shughuli kumekuwa na a lot of challenges of which.
I have been scammed, but never scammed anyone, mi nishaumizwa, juu ni biz ni same na muziki nishaenda show na nikarushwa na promoter. Can I call all promoters scammers? No. From the bottom of my heart I would never, I have never.”
He clarified that he did the online trading during covid times and dropped it, “Kutoka hio time nimekuwa busy sana, I did not trade for long.”
The Dawa Ya Baridi singer is building an 8-bedroom home. He spoke about the construction saying, “But that house being my first house ever in my life, its a dream I never thought I would leave Mathare.”
Speaking on pregnancy rumours, Seed told Kioko, “Mambo aiii not true saa hii, bado huu mtoto wa kwanza hajaingia shule, kwa plans zetu tulisema at least akuwe tupee watoto space alafu tujipee space ya kupambana maze si kuweka kuweka.”
He continued that planning and spacing pregnancy is important for couples. “I was also shocked to hear those rumours I mean I remember we saw the doctor two years ago kumeenda aje? But aki come through pia it’s a blessing watoi ni blessing pia.”
Their only child, a son Gold has just joined the school and on Tuesday, his wife Nimo took them shopping for uniforms and other school supplies.
Mr. Seed joined other Kenyans in speaking out about the cost of education
“School fees imecover maisha yangu yote yenye nimesoma. I have paid so much in school fees, lazima tupee watoi wetu maisha fiti.”
He said he will not be discouraged about the cost because he wants to see his children get an education in spite of the cost.
