'You will rob me!' Flaqo's mum tells son about dreadlocks and tattoos

 

It's the most wonderful time of the year and it is also the birthday mode for comedian Flaqo. He turned a year older and shared a video of how it all went down. Well sort of.

The comedian shared a short clip of his real mum commenting about his hair and his brothers' nose piercings.

Flaqo and his brother both have dreadlocks and this hairstyle seems to be an annoyance to their mum.

"Umefika home Christmas, uceleb imebaki Nairobi. Anyhu Happy Birthday to Me🤣🤣Merry Christmas and a happy New Year 2023."

In the video, the brothers walk into her home carrying luggage and excitedly sit down. Flaqo's mother looks at them as the pair suddenly realize something is not right about her look.

Flaqo's mum; "Mumeamua ni rasta, how is Nairobi?" she asks "fine" they respond.

"So you decided to be rastamen, you will rob me eh rasta men, yhat is is the trend?" They look down in embarrassment as she commands them to go to the kitchen and serve some food for Christmas.

But mum isn't satisfied with their hairstyle as she looks at the brother who also has a nose ring.

"Emmanuel, Henry are you killers back in Nairobi, Emmanuel has even decided to pierce his nose, all in the name of fashion. Emmanuel, what are you trying to breathe shimo mpaka kwa mapua adding holes to your nose, what are you trying to smell?"

The tense family moment continued with the mother commenting about his tattoos. she could not understand why humans need body art like that; "drawings all over your body like abunuwasi, you look like a Kiswahili mufti book."

The video has amused Flaqo's fans who are encouraging him to feature his mother in more videos.
