Probe As Baby Found Dumped In A River In Nyamira County
A police report seen by Citizen Digital shows that the body was found in River Nyabara Ibere in Nyabisimba, Nyamira South.
"A group of children were fetching firewood along the river bank when they spotted the body of the infant," police said.
Meanwhile, police have appealed to members of the public to volunteer information that will help in the search of the baby's parents.
The body has been taken to Nyamira County Referral Hospital.
