Pastor Ng'ang'a brags about his expensive lifestyle
A video of Neno Evangelism founder Pastor James Ng'ang'a bragging about driving an expensive car during a church session has elicited a mixed reaction.
During his daughter's wedding, Mpasho got a sneak peek of Ng'ang'a grey-convertible sleek Mercedes Benz S-class.
His wife Murugi arrived at the venue driving herself in a Prado.
Well, in an undated video of him preaching, the controversial man of God told his congregants to live flashy lifestyles even when they do not have money.
He told them to buy expensive cars and build mansions.
Ng'ang'a also warned them against looking ordinary, explaining that this makes life boring.
"Ukipata pesa nunua gari. Nunua gari nzuri sana na ujenge nyumba nzuri sana hata kama hauna pesa. Ukipata pesa nunua gari nzuri sana na ujenge nyumba nzuri sana na uwe na tumaringo. Usikae kama wa kawaida, unakuwa na tumaringo tu," Nga'ng'a said.
He added that he drives a very expensive car but that does not mean he had money in his bank account.
"Labda kwa bank sina hiyo pesa. Lakini ni ya kumake sure Ng'ang'a akipita amepita."
In the past, Pastor Ng'ang'a said he is a man who runs lots of businesses.
He said that is what funds his flashy lifestyle after fans accused him of 'eating' church offerings at the expense of his followers.
"I started carrying goods with a mkokoteni, in Mombasa. I was later given Ksh 500 by a woman from Church and changed my business from mkokoteni to selling mangoes in Bombolulu.
One customer told me he had a bicycle and bought it and started using it, later I bought a motorbike and later a car. I had a shop that I gave out in 1995 when I became a full time minister." BY MPASHO NEWS
