How fallout with Bahati terribly affected Weezdom's health

Former Kenyan gospel artist Weezdom has opened up and admitted that he was depressed after breaking up with the artist who introduced him to Gospel music, Bahati Kioko, who also signed him to his EMB label.

Weezdom said that after the deterioration of his relationship with Bahati, he was unable to support himself financially and thus sank into a deep depression that caused him to seek comfort in alcohol which also did not help him but aggravated his problems.

Speaking on the EMM podcast, Weezdom said that drowning in alcoholism made him lose his way and he forgot to make music and had money problems.

“I realized that I had to let things be okay when I was angry. Later I was beaten by people I know but the case is in court so I can't talk much about it.

I've been in and out of the hospital from January to July and most people didn't know. I also sank into depression at that time and started looking for refuge," Weezdom said.

Before adding;

"There were many challenges but I never shared with anyone so I just decided to drink alcohol. I was drinking from morning till night. This year I have been fighting. I used to drink alone and hide so that no one would know that I was drinking," said the local artist.

The artist talked about how some good people came out to help him out of his drunkenness, including broadcasters Willy Tuva and the former Member of Parliament for Starehe, Jaguar.
