Boni Khalwale mourns nephew who died in car fire in US

Kakamega Senator Boniface Khalwale has mourned his nephew Yul  Khalwale who died in a car fire on Federal Way in the US.

In a statement on Sunday, Khalwale said that Yul was his late brother Captain Gaeb Khalwale’s son.

“Saddened to mourn Yul Brian Khalwale Ashiono, 37, son of my late bro Capt. Gaeb Ashiono Khalwale, who died in a road accident on Federal Way in the USA. Friends and relatives are meeting as we mourn,” he said.

According to a publication by Federal Mirror on Friday, one person was killed in a car fire in Federal Way on Thursday evening,  Federal Way police said.

When the fire was extinguished, officials found the remains of a deceased male in the passenger seat of the vehicle.

Police said that preliminary information does not suggest the fire was intentionally set up.

However, the circumstances surrounding the incident were unclear.     BY MPASHO NEWS
