Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has arrived at the holy family Basilica minor for thanksgiving service for the disciplined forces and their families.
The DP arrived some minutes past 2 pm.
Interior CS Kithure Kindiki is also in attendance.
Service commanders and disciplined forces from the Kenya Police Service, Kenya Prisons, Kenya Wildlife Service, and DCI, are among those in attendance.
Archbishop Philip Anyolo is presiding over the thanksgiving service that has also been attended by other senior government officials.
