Karua to Nassir: Work with government but don't kneel down
Narc Kenya leader Martha Karua has urged Mombasa Governor Abdulswamad Nassir to work with the government but not blindly.
Speaking in Mombasa during the swearing-in ceremony, she said Nassir should work with President William Ruto's government but from a point of strength.
"Collaborate with the govt ambayo imenyakua but collaborate from a position of strength and not kneeling down," Karua stated.
She further said that Nassir should continue with the good work whose foundation had been laid by former Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho.
"Tunamatarajio ya kwamba Governor Nassir ataendelea kupea wakazi wa Mombasa more and better services starting on the foundation laid by Joho," Karua added.
The Nack Kenya leader cautioned Mombasa residents against embracing a 'divide and rule' political strategy which she claimed will be brought to them.
