Nominated Senator Hezena Lemaletian has described ODM Party leader Raila Odinga as one who empowers and leads many leaders to grow.
She said many leaders have politically grown due to Raila’s empowerment.
“I have watched Baba empower and grow many leaders who of which would have never been anywhere were it not for him, “Lemaletian said on Saturday.
The first time Senator further described the former Prime Minister as a tree, that donates water to so many trees.
“He (Raila) is a tree that gives shade to incubate many leaders. Thank you, Baba,” Lemaletian added.
Senator Lemaletian has been a jack of many trades before making an entrance into politics.
Also known as Queen of the North, the Global peace ambassador used her position to champion the rights of her Samburu society.
In 2012, she worked in the position of a finance officer given her background training before she went into addressing her community problems.
Being passionate about the pleas of minority groups, she wanted to find ways to ensure that her contribution would be impactful.
Lemaletian holds a powerful position in the Raila-led ODM party.
