An ODM agent has filed an affidavit in support of President-Elect William Ruto’s case claiming that one of the forms attached in the Azimio case was fake.
Eric Atuma says he was an agent at St. Martin School Kibarage polling station 2 of 7 in Kitusuru Ward, Westlands Constituency Nairobi County.
Atuma claims that he was present at the polling station on the material day of the general elections until and including at the close of polls.
“As an agent, I observed and took note of the tallying exercise at the polling centre immediately at the close of polls,” he said.
Atuma says upon completion of the tallying, all the agents at the polling station were issued with a copy of the duly signed form 34A and instantly submitted a copy to my party(ODM) electronically.
“I have been shown a copy of the form 34A that we obtained from the presiding officer at the polling station and certainly not the electronic copy that I submitted to ODM/Azimio,” he claims.
He maintains that the form he submitted to the party which has produced in court is similar to the form uploaded on the IEBC public portal.
“The form 34 A contained on page 121 of the affidavit by Arnold Oginga is neither a true copy of the form that sent to the party nor the form 34A contained in the IEBC web portal,” he claims.
Atuma says that as an agent of ODM in the respective polling station, “I wish to confirm that the true representation of form 34A is that which I sent party and produced here”. BY THE STAR
