[PHOTOS] Students flock CBD as schools re-open

Students and parents have flocked the Nairobi Central Business District (CBD) as schools re-open.

As early as 6am in the morning, various bus stages within the CBD were seen with students in uniform, especially those traveling long distance.

The school going children are set to complete the second bit of the term in September.

Magoha had in a statement clarified that students will no longer be required to report to school on Monday, as earlier communicated.

“I hereby convey the Government’s decision on the suspension of the re-opening of all Basic Education institutions with effect from Monday, 15th August 2022 until Thursday 18th August, 2022,” the statement read.

Parents and guardians have been urged  to ensure that school children report back as directed by the ministry of education.    BY THE STAR
