Ruto’s lead campaign team in Central Kenya

Deputy President William Ruto on Sunday named individuals who will lead campaigns across the country.

Speaking during the unveiling of a running mate at his residence in Karen, Ruto said the plan will ensure things run smoothly to avoid unhealthy competition among partner parties.

He insisted that Kenya Kwanza is a coalition of democrats, the willing and the free and that there will be no zoning.

National Assembly Speaker Justin Muturi, Mithika Linturi and Beatrice Nkathaa will run  Mt Kenya East activities, while Alice Wahome, Governor Anne Waiguru, Mwangi Kiunjuri, William Kabogo, Kimani Ichung’wah,  Mutahi Kahiga, Patrick Mariru, and Faith Gitau will be in charge of Central Kenya activities.      BY THE   STAR
