[PHOTOS] Leaders, family at Parliament to view Kibaki's body
Security was heightened at the Parliament Building where the late President Mwai Kibaki is lying in state.
Kenya’s third President Mwai Kibaki died on April 22 aged 90. He ruled from 2002 when he took over from the late Daniel arap Moi to 2012.
His body was escorted to the parliament by National security and his family on Monday.
Last week, President Uhuru Kenyatta directed that Kibaki be accorded a state funeral with full military honours and protocols.
The body will be at Parliament for public viewing from Monday, April 25 to Wednesday, April 27.

Kibaki passed away on Friday, April 22, seven months before his 91st birthday.
Uhuru is expected to lead Kenyans in viewing the body of the third Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces at Parliament Buildings.
