I heard you giving up on me-Cliff Moses’ sad last TikTok video

News

Former Citizen TV video editor, Cliff Moses was found dead yesterday with initial reports indicating that he had taken his own life.

Friends who knew him said that this wasn’t the first time that Cliff had tried to commit suicide. They said that shortly after he resigned from Citizen, the late Cliff had unsuccessfully tried to take his own life then, with his friends taking him to hospital at the time.

But it seems that the late Cliff had given a foreshadowing of his impending death in the last few videos that he posted on his TikTok page.

In the video, Cliff who was vaping can be seen listening to A Great Big World’s song called, ‘Say Something.’

The beginning of the video clip is the most telling one, as Cliff is heard lip-syncing the words, “Truth is, I heard you giving up on me. And you don’t think that changed me? That shit broke me.”

After he finishes saying that, we hear the song chorus of the melancholic ‘Say Something’ playing in the background as the video fades to black.

Was this a call for help from the late Cliff? Possibly, but I am sure that our country desperately needs to take mental health seriously. May the late Cliff rest in peace.   BY   MPASHO NEWS
