Ecstatic Maina Kageni blessed by Dedan Kimathi's widow, Mukami

 

Maina Kageni couldn't hide his excitement after he visited Dedan Kimathi's wife Mukami.

The radio king visited the home with his counterparts from the 'Tembea Tujenge Kenya" team.

Taking to his socials, Maina penned;

"Had the honour and the privilege of visiting the homestead of Dedan Kimathi who was the leader of Mau Mau, Kenya’s armed independence movement.

His 93-year-old wife released blessings upon us as we began our tour of Nyandarua County."

Tembea Tujenge Kenya project is an initiative to identify and promote these existing destinations for Kenyans. Duly encouraging domestic tourism – Kenya for Kenyans.
