Days after ODM leader Raila Odinga (pictured) disclosed that the party is considering opinion polls as a means of picking 2022 candidates, it seems pollsters are having an early Christmas, especially in his Nyanza backyard. Corridors of Power has learnt that almost all elected leaders and aspirants from the politically charged region have now secretly commissioned polls to gauge their popularity ahead of the nominations. A lawmaker who was seeking similar services from a reputable pollster was told to wait until late January as the firm had as many as 25 prior survey bookings in the area.
