Abel Mutua is at top of the film game in Kenya and most likely wouldn’t have been such a big name had it not been for the love and support from his lovely wife, Judy Nyawira.
A few hours ago, the former Tahidi High actor penned a heartfelt letter to that Judy, as he celebrated their 6th marriage anniversary.
In his lovely letter, the thespian reminisced at how their wedding day had started out badly but despite it all, their marriage had been worth it.
Exactly 6 years at this very hour mzee mzima Lagiacca alikuwa mteja na suti yangu, Bazuu Wangu wa bridal car alipiga sleeping pills flani zinaitwa Jameson akableki, but despite all that, what mattered most for me was the fact that I was getting ready to trap this babe for life. Ndio Sisi hao Sasa @judynyawira. I couldn’t ask for a better wife. Tuzeeke pamoja Babe for another 96 years Alafu after Hapo turudi Soko, au sio? I love you!!! Happy Anniversary.
Nyawira herself responded to her hubby’s poetic message with her own short and sweet caption. It read, “Still ridin’! Happy anniversary Habibi. ❤”
The two met in college—Kenya School of Mass Communication when she was a first-year student and he was in his final year.
Judy would get pregnant during her final year and Abel visited her home to inform her mother of his intentions to raise the child and take care of her.
“We carried out four pregnancy tests to be certain of the outcome. I cried the entire day and just like that at the age of 22 and Abel at 23, we realised that we would be parents. I did not go home for six months. My mum was working at a casual job then and I did not know how she would take it.”
The two have been married 12 years and are raising their daughter Mumbua. BY MPASHO NEWS
